Social Science at Uganda Christian University began in 1997 by offering the program of Social Work and Social Administration as part of the Faculty of Education, Arts, and Sciences. It has since grown into a fully-fledged faculty with a variety of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels and is one of the largest faculties at UCU, with over 4,000 students.
The faculty is committed to providing academic, Social and Christian Spiritual guidance, through effective teaching, research guidance and counselling to produce high quality social scientists of integrity that are academically grounded, socially integrated and morally sound.
