Mr. Peter Katwesige

Peter Katwesige is an Advanced Master of Science student of Development Evaluation and Management at the University of Antwerp and a former part time Lecturer, at Uganda Christian University. He has a Master of arts in Public administration and management and Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration and Management. He has been fully involved in consultancy and University teaching for over 6 years coupled with practical experience in project administration and management of over three years with both Private and Non-Government Organizations. He holds expertise in areas such as Public Administration and management, Public Relation and Public speaking, Project Planning and Management, Human Resource Management, Public Private Partnership, as well as Public Service Delivery.

Since 2012, Peter has been recruited as a full time teaching assistant in the faculty of Business and Management at International University of East Africa. He served in that position for a period of one and half year and was promoted to full time lecturer in the same department after fully completing his First Masters in Public Administration and Management at Uganda Christina University in 2014.  

While a lecturer, He taught various programs in the faculty although with a specific focus to public administration, his core area of specialization. In 2015, Mr. Katwesige was appointed to coordinate the Public Administration section in the university a position that he still holds to date. As a coordinator one of his main duties have been to assign load to staff and ensure that staff comply to the standards at the university. Peter has also been involved in curriculum review of the programs taught in Public Administration, an activity that is successful being executed.

  • 2015: Paper presentation on 20th National Technology Conference (NTC 2015) under the theme, “Urbanization, A Reality for Developing Nations” the topic of discussion was Urban transport governance: Analysis of transport regulation enforcement on Performance of commuter taxis in Kampala Central business
  • 2016: Research on Role of Political parties in Hybrid Regimes.
  • 2016: Political Participation and Service Delivery: A Critical Literature review on the Methods used
  • Critical analysis of Mozambique’s PRSP and the strategic Indicator Matrix M&E policy and system
  • Diagnosis of the quality of Monitoring and Evaluation arrangements in Uganda’s National Development Plan, (2015/2016-2019/2020)
